DIGITAL VIDEO EDITOR (This position has been filled!)

We are looking for an experienced video editor eager to create videos that support positive change in the world. We love sharing stories and we would love to have you help us share them.


The right candidate will have a vast knowledge of Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, iZotope RX Audio, extreme attention to detail, and flexibility in the day. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Indigenous cultural values.


We are looking for the following combination of skills and experience (but not limited to):


  • Video production that is culturally respectful

  • Strong visual storytelling with motion graphics

  • Proven track record of outstanding video editing

  • Understanding of the videography process

  • Colour grading, some compositing, sound editing and mixing,

  • Manage simultaneous projects and meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and part of a team

  • Vast knowledge of Premiere Pro

  • Transcoding for distribution on multiple platforms

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work efficiently

  • Excellent communication and creative thinking skills

  • Assist with script writing  

  • Photo editing, illustration, and on-set experience.


The video editor will work and report directly to the owner.


This is a contract position with a non-disclosure agreement. The start date is negotiable.
